Each appointment is approximately 50 minutes

Absolutely! This is your appointment and if bringing a support person is helpful please do so! If for any reason your dietitian wishes to speak with you alone, he/she will notify you at the appointment.

It depends on availability; however most patients are able to get scheduled within 2-4 weeks.

Our rates may vary depending on the service and length of appointment. Please give us a call to discuss scheduling options and availability.

Your first appointment is an opportunity for your Dietitian to discuss and understand your medical history, lifestyle, and goals. It is also a chance for you to get to know your Dietitian and ask any questions you may have. The goal of each appointment is for the Dietitian to conduct an in-depth nutrition assessment, evaluate current intake, anthropometric data, and any pertinent medical information and provide you with a meal plan and/or goals to best support your goals.

Dietitians ABQ does not do any direct mail Marketing. The only time we may send anything to you mailing address is if there are any unpaid balances on your account.

In general, most patients benefit from a total of 2-3 appointments: the initial assessment and a follow up. However, there is no minimum or maximum amount of appointments. Some patients prefer the support and meet with their dietitian more frequently (weekly or biweekly). You and your Dietitian will come up with a follow up plan together during your appointment.

Our highly experienced staff of Dietitians are well practiced in a variety of conditions and diagnoses. The Dietitians will always be sure to be prepared before your appointment, and you will never be scheduled with anybody who is not comfortable with your condition. Please be sure to share any specifics you are looking for in a dietitian with the intake coordinator.
